The seminar, titled “Accreditation Workshop: Designing Curriculum within the Scope of the PUKÖ Cycle,” held via Zoom on Wednesday, December 3rd at 8:30 PM, was successfully completed with the participation of 248 faculty members.

The workshop, organized by the Social, Human and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR), featured Prof. Dr. Gürbüz Ocak, a faculty member at Afyon Kocatepe University’s Faculty of Education, as a speaker, and Prof. Dr. Ali Bayrakdaroğlu, an advisor to the STAR Accreditation Board, as a moderator.

Within the scope of the seminar, topics such as TQF-aligned program design, the development of syllabi/curricula, the formulation of program and learning outcomes, ECTS workload planning, the relationship between assessment–evaluation and accreditation, and good practices within the PDCA cycle were addressed. Contemporary approaches aimed at strengthening quality assurance in the design and revision of educational programs were also shared with the participants.
