STAR organized a meeting to inform academic and administrative staff working in the University Quality Coordination Offices and Quality Offices of universities in the Marmara Region. Hosted by İstinye University, the meeting was attended by 39 people.

At the meeting, information was shared regarding STAR’s accreditation process and the 2024 evaluations. Information was also provided on the new program areas authorized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖKAK). Detailed presentations were made to the participants regarding the evaluation criteria, application and evaluation schedule, application requirements, and required documents.

The meeting agenda also addressed topics such as the preparation of self-assessment reports, the selection of evaluation teams, field visit practices, and evaluation methods.
