The “Southeast Anatolia Region Program Accreditation Information and Evaluation Workshop,” organized in collaboration with the STAR Accreditation Association and Gaziantep University, was held on May 3, 2025, in the Turquoise Hall of the GAÜN Mavera Congress and Art Center.

Hosted by Gaziantep University, the workshop, held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, was attended by 49 faculty members from various universities in the region. The event aimed to strengthen the quality culture in higher education and raise awareness of program accreditation processes.

Following the opening remarks by Gaziantep University Rector Advisor Prof. Dr. Emrah Cinkara, STAR Board Advisor Prof. Dr. Ali Bayrakdaroğlu provided comprehensive information to the participants with his presentation titled “Quality Assurance and Quality Culture in Higher Education.”

STAR Evaluator Assoc. The event, which continued with Yunus KILIÇ’s “Field Visit Experience Sharing” session where he explained the evaluation processes through application examples, ended with a question-and-answer session where participants’ questions about the processes were answered by experts.
