STAR Internationalization Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali BIÇAK and STARAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Faruk AYSAN attended the CEENQA General Assembly Meeting held in Tallinn, Estonia, on June 13-14, 2025. Following the opening remarks on the first day of the CEENQA General Assembly Meetings, Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali BIÇAK moderated a panel discussion on the same topic, which was followed by presentations by invited speakers. The panel, organized after a thorough preparation process, included relevant stakeholders. The President of the Estonian Student Union, the Director of the Slovenian Information Technology Center, the Director of the Policy Center of the Estonian Ministry of Education, and the FIBAA Accreditation Agency presented their perspectives on the relationship between higher education and the labor market, their involvement in this matter, and their work in this area.

At the General Assembly held on the second day, CEENQA President Vesna Dodiković-Jurković presented the General Assembly with an annual activity and financial report. Lasha Margishvili, a representative of the Georgian Quality Assurance Agency, was elected to fill the vacant CEENQA Board of Directors.

Prof. Hasan Ali BIÇAK was accompanied by STARAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Faruk AYSAN during the General Assembly proceedings. Prof. Dr. AYSAN presented a STAR plaque to the hosting President of the Estonian National Quality Assurance Agency, Mr. Heli Mattisen, FIBAA Director General Diane Friberger, and CEENQA Board President Ms. Vesna Dodiković-Jurković, furthering the existing good relations.

Prof. Bıçak made STAR a member of CEENQA at the CEENQA General Assembly held in Astana in 2023, and was elected to the CEENQA Board of Directors at the General Assembly Meeting in Baku a year later in 2024.
