STAR aims to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of Social, Humanities, and Basic Sciences undergraduate programs in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by organizing training, workshops, and informative events related to evaluation and accreditation processes. Conducting evaluation and accreditation activities in line with its mission and goals, STAR has a broad and comprehensive infrastructure that supports the development of undergraduate programs that collaborate with professional organizations and representatives of the business world. STAR adopts an approach that considers its stakeholders and values interaction with them in its organized events. Through the policies it follows, STAR aims to be a key actor in advancing societal welfare by contributing to the training of better-educated and more qualified graduates from undergraduate programs, who are aware of current trends and developments in social life and the business world.
To achieve its goals, STAR desires to organize and support training, workshops, and informative events at both international and national levels. As a non-governmental organization, STAR fulfills the continuous development and improvement of Social, Humanities, and Basic Sciences undergraduate programs with a social responsibility approach.
Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association has been established to promote the development of Undergraduate Programs in Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences in the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, to continuously improve them, to ensure the quality of education and training, and to conduct the evaluation and accreditation of Undergraduate Programs in Business Administration, International Trade, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Banking, Labor Economics, Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations, Econometrics, Statistics, Logistics, Public Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Insurance and Actuarial Science.

Internal Stakeholders establish and maintain a respectful and service-oriented relationship with Undergraduate Programs in Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences as part of their evaluation and accreditation activities.
Continuous learning is a prerequisite for continuous improvement. For this reason, STAR continuously learns from its own activities and performance as well as from the experience of international and national accreditation agencies. The development of Internal Stakeholders is supported and encouraged in such a way as to create an environment in which they can recognize and utilize their full potential.
STAR provides services that will create added value for all Stakeholders and Undergraduate Programs in Social, Humanities Basic Sciences. The added value of the service will be monitored through direct feedback.
Maximizing value and increasing success depends on the development of collaborations. For this reason, STAR will seek and develops opportunities for collaboration with international and national accreditation agencies.
Internal Stakeholders, as individuals who are responsible to External Stakeholders, have adopted a high level of ethical approach that is transparent and accountable. For this reason, Internal Stakeholders shall behave in a professional manner by avoiding conflicts of interest within the framework of the Code of Ethics Directive.
